Honey G made a shock return to The X Factor last night after failing to make it through the Six Chair Challenge. Sharon said they had never received so many calls from people asking for Honey G to be put through to the next round, when she exited the show.
“I hope Sharon doesn’t let the new jay-z slip through her fingers”
Honey confidently walked on stage, performing WTF (Where they from) by Missy Elliott feat. Pharrell, where she showed us more of her signature moves.
Despite telling the judges “I’m the one that you want” and Simon appealing to Sharon that she deserved a seat, she remained unconvinced and refused to put her through.
The audience kicked off as she walked off stage, with Simon saying “they liked her.”
“I’M THE REALEST CHICK IN THE GAME RIGHT NOW!”
Osbourne said she was disappointed to lose Grace, but said of Honey G: “I thought long and hard about who can take Ivy’s place in the competition and I have never received so many calls and texts about an auditionee before.”
As exclusively confirmed on the Xtra Factor last night, Ivy Grace Paredes had to pull out due to Visa issues. Sharon intends to take her group to LA to film the next part of the X Factor series.
“When i say honey, you say g!”
One of the things we love about Honey G is that she loves rapping and performing on the X Factor. Despite walking off stage saying Sharon was obviously not ‘on her level’ or interested, she was quick to say how happy she is to go through to the next stage with Sharon as her mentor on Twitter. We can’t wait to see more of Honey G this week!
Honey G’s departure was the biggest shock of the night, but takes through Samantha Atkinson, James Wilson, Relley C, Christopher Peyton, Janet Grogan and Ivy Grace Paredes (who has now dropped out). James Craise sang Sia’s Alive to convince Sharon he needs one of the 6 seats in the challenge.
Christian Burrows fought to be in the final line-up. You know when you have smashed it when all your rivals give a standing ovation with Feelin’ Good. Matt Terry got through and another personal favourite of ours was Nate Simpson. We think girls everywhere are going to like this line-up!
Gifty sang Crazy by Gnarls Barkley which got her through to the next stage. 17-year old Emily Middlemass unseating a rival with her accoustic rendition of Girls just wanna have fun by Cyndi Lauper. We certainly do Emily!
Louis broke some hearts last night with his dithering. Girl Next Door were brought back by popular demand only to be dropped from the final line-up. We love Skarl3t AKA – Naomi, Natasha and Tonia and 5 AM who sang How Deep Is Your Love by Calvin Harris & Disciples.
Guest judges will at least be on hand to help Louis make his mind up in future rounds. It’s not easy but the audience backlash from his decision-making was very vocal during the show. Louis will be joined by 2015 X Factor runner up Fleur East and Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon. Nicole enlists the help of DJ Calvin Harris. Simon recruited former Spice Girls Mel B and Emma Bunton whilst Sharon reunites with singer Robbie Williams.
The X Factor continues on ITV this Saturday 1st October at 8pm & Sunday 2nd October at 7.30pm.
