Artists for Grenfell Unite

Simon Cowell invited artists to record ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ to raise funds for those victims and survivors of the Grenfell Fire, immediately after having watched the news of the fire which he described as ‘heartbreaking’.

Cowell invited some of the biggest names in music to record the track over a three day period. Robbie Williams, Stormzy, Craig David, James Blunt, Roger Daltry, Louis Tomlinson, Leona Lewis, Emili Sande, Paloma Faith and Bastille are just some of the names who appear on the track released today.

Cowell lives in the same London borough as Grenfell Tower and announced the single last Thursday. He donated £100,000 of his own money to the cause.

The single is now at No.1 on the Itunes Store and is available to buy now on iTunes as well as other streaming platforms, with proceeds raised going towards the London Community Foundation.
