For most of us Broke Girls in the City, coffee is an integral part of our lifestyle. Coffee for breakfast. Coffee throughout the day. Espresso martinis when feeling indulgent 🙂
The London Coffee Festival is now upon us and there are so many events taking place over the capital as part of UK Coffee Week. Other brands will have offers in place too, which we hope to make you aware of too.
The London Coffee Festival
12-15 APRIL 2018 | OLD TRUMAN BREWERY, BRICK LANE.
The London Coffee Festival takes place this week 12-15 April 2018, and promises to be an unmissable event for discerning coffee lovers and those working in the coffee scene. Featuring over 250 artisan coffee and gourmet food stalls, tastings and demonstrations from world-class baristas, interactive workshops, street food, coffee-based cocktails, live music, DJs, art exhibitions and so much more! The London Coffee Festival is also proud to be the official launch event of UK Coffee Week™.
Take a look to see what’s happening in the city this week! Not only is there the annual Espresso Martini Festival running this Friday. Each day will be jam packed full of events celebrating coffee.
Espresso Martini Party
My favourite cocktail is the Espresso Martini. Each year The London Coffee Festival organises the Espresso Martini Launch Party. From coffee cocktails by Baileys, to live DJ sets and dancing. Norman Jay as well as international star, one-man-band Youngr will be there on the night.
Check out Jamie Oliver’s Drinks Tube video on how to make one at home. You won’t be disappointed!
UK Coffee Week 2018
The official launch event of UK Coffee Week, The London Coffee Festival celebrates London’s bustling and vibrant coffee scene while donating 50% of ticket sales to support Project Waterfall. An initiative developed by the Allegra Foundation (registered charity: 1133540) to bring clean water to the communities which grow our coffee.

Watch out for lots of offers from brands who will be sending out discounts and offering freebies during #LondonCoffeeWeek

People say write about what you know. So I did. I founded Broke Girl in the City – a smart girl’s guide to leading a fabulous lifestyle on a budget! A career spanning entertainment, bars & nightclubs (and frequenting them), film, music and TV, there isn’t much I don’t know about how to have fun in the city when completely broke.
