As the UK’s first rooftop cinema experience, we’ve reimagined the way people enjoy cinema” Gerry Cottle Jnr

For the ultimate movie throwback night. Rooftop Film Club founder Gerry Cottle Jr has hand-selected his favourite nostalgic movies from the past decade of screenings. There’s something for everyone.

Grab your dance partner for screenings of Dirty Dancing (25th May at both venues). Or head to the Peckham rooftop for the ultimate singalong to Grease (8th June). Channel your inner rebel with The Breakfast Club (20th May at Roof East). Or opt for the classic Forrest Gump on 1st June at the Bussey Rooftop.

Founder of Rooftop Film Club, Gerry Cottle Jnr said, “After a year’s hiatus, we’re thrilled to be rolling out the red carpet and reopening our rooftops for our tenth summer season. As the UK’s first rooftop cinema experience, we’ve reimagined the way people enjoy cinema and at Rooftop Film Club, it’s all about nostalgia, escapism, great views, delicious food, awesome cocktails and your favourite movie on the big screen.

We want this season to make up for last summer and we’re inviting Londoners to come and celebrate our 10th birthday with a host of films and events that are not to be missed. From our first London rooftop cinema in Shoreditch’s Queen of Hoxton to our successful sites in Peckham and Stratford, and more in the pipeline, the sky really is the limit for Rooftop Film Club and we can’t wait to see what the next ten years brings. Love, Peace and Great Films.”

Head to the Peckham rooftop this June for all of the festival feels

Keep your eyes peeled for a whole host of events and themed screenings throughout the summer season. With Glastonbury delayed for another year. It’s getting emotional in August, with a month of movies dedicated to cinema therapy.
