Entry Level Human
“Just hit after hit after hit from a stand-up who’s very much operating at advanced level” – Chortle
Zoe’s trademark high energy, brilliantly observed routines and sharply written material has left her with an ever-growing fan base and Entry Level Human won’t disappoint. Earning 4 and 5 star reviews, Zoe packed out the Ballroom at Gilded Balloon at the Fringe.
Entry Level Human talks about her fears for humanity with a world full of people including herself who get by with base level skills. She wonders whether this should be a cause for fear or whether we should just all just accept our inadequacies and embrace the fact that we’re still hanging on, despite all odds. She notes the rise in stupidity she’s witnessed post Brexit and the idiot behaviour of those of us that blindly follow and rely on the internet and wonders whether if we push ourselves out of our boundaries and challenge ourselves we can evolve or whether we will all ultimately always be Entry Level.
“For an hour of non-stop, laugh out loud comedy there really is no need to go any further” Edinburgh Festivals Magazine
As well as touring, Zoe exhibited her culinary prowess on BBC One’s Celebrity Masterchef. She also has her own Radio 4 series ‘Zoe Lyons: Passport Paddy’ in which she travels around Ireland in order to reconnect with the land she spent her young childhood in as she finds that Brexit has made her suddenly wanting to embrace that side of her roots (for the passport).
“’Entry Level Human’ is a masterclass in how to write, construct and perform a show” – Funny Women
