Unforgettable moments from the 2019 Grammys
Whilst in London the BAFTAs were taking place, the 61st Grammys were happening in the US. It was amazing to see so many talented women absolutely smashing it in on the night. Let’s check out some of the best moments from the 2019 Grammy Awards.
Cardi-B and Offset
Cardi B wore the most amazing outfits on the night. The outfit she wore above is none other than fashion Thierry Mugler. “The house of Mugler exclusively opened its iconic archives to dress Cardi B for the 61st Annual Grammy Awards 2019,” a release stated. Just like her, she wore a work-of-art.

Michelle Obama, Alicia Keys, ada Pinkett Smith, Lady GaGa and Jennifer Lopez -in that hat- all all took centre stage, walking out in hand in hand to open The Grammys. In a girls squad moment that would outshine even Taylor Swift, each of Alicia’s sisters took to the stage to say what music means to them.

Lady GaGa speaks out for mental health
An emotional Lady Gaga thanked Bradley Cooper, who unfortunately couldn’t be at the Grammys because he was at the BAFTAs.
“I’m so proud to be a part of a movie that addresses mental health issues,” she said. “They’re so important. And a lot of artists deal with that, and we’ve got to take care of each other. So if you see somebody that’s hurting, don’t look away. And if you’re hurting, even though it might be hard, try to find that bravery within yourself to dive deep and go tell somebody and take them up in your head with you.” Personally I also think this is a nod to Keisha who she defended recently.
Dua Lipa wins Best new artist
“Thank you to my fans who have let me be the best version of myself”
In reference to the President of the GRAMMYs who said that women need to step up when criticised that there were not enough women on the nominees list. Let’s not forget Ariana…
What was an amazing night didn’t detract from the fact that music may bring everyone together, but for one night only it didn’t bring Ariana Grande who posted this pic of her in the gown she had intended to wear to the Grammys.
