CAMDEN MARKET

WHAT TO EXPECT

Set against the backdrop of Camden Market, Solomons’ Yard will feature live DJs, epic street food, craft beer and cocktails all overlooking the Regent’s Canal at sundown.

As the market embraces it’s 45th-anniversary celebrating heritage, culture and creativity. Solomons’ Yard harks back to pre-market days when its Middle Yard played host to the real-life Alfie Solomons’ (Peaky Blinders) underground operation of whiskey smuggling and gambling. Whilst the summer’s festivities will be far less illicit, they’ll be no less exciting, and promise a high octane, visual delight and uplifting attack on all the senses.

Grandmaster Flash

MUSIC

Launching with Eton Messy & Friends, the Market will be staying up late for 10 consecutive weekends. With performances from the likes of DJs – Eton Messy & Friends, Sugarhill Gang, Grand Master Flash, DJ Prime Cuts, JNR Sanchez and Simon Dunmore (Glitterbox). Guest night takeovers including Supa Dupa Fly, Guilty Pleasures, South London Soul Train and Tropical Records. Music will span an eclectic mix across all genres, from hip-hop and RnB to house and disco.

Camden Market Street Food

FOOD

An impressive line-up of global street food talent will be fuelling the festivities. Representing cuisines from across the globe, an edit of some of London’s finest. The line-up will showcase 28 of Camden Market’s finest, on rotation throughout the ten-week residency. Expect Venezuelan stuffed fried cornbreads from Arepazo Bros, Bill or Beak’s Szechuan fried chicken and duck burgers, entire roast dinners wrapped in a Yorkshire Pudding from Yorkshire Burrito, Burger and Beyond’s 45 day old aged patties layered with burnt butter mayo, double American cheese and crispy bacon to Bappita’s kebab stuffed pitta pockets. The list goes on. Something to satisfy every hungry party go-er. Look out for some Solomons’ Yard street food specials from the likes of modern Columbian street food-preneurs, Maize Blaze.
