WeMeet Unveils Line-Up of Social Events in London This May

WeMeet, the free social events app from solo group travel brand WeRoad, has announced a vibrant programme of events taking place across London this May — designed to help people connect in real life, without pressure.

New research from WeMeet highlights a growing challenge for adults in the capital: maintaining friendships, meeting new pals, and even organising a simple night out. Findings show 44% of people say it’s hard to meet others in the city, with a further 20% admitting they feel lonely when their friends aren’t around.  Only 23% report feeling ‘pretty good’ about having friends and social events to attend in their local area—43% strugge to find the right people to connect with IRL.

93% of us would like to meet new people in our city.

WeMeet offers a great way to meet new friends.  Users can discover events in their city, RSVP, follow favourite hosts, and receive personalised invites — all offering easy, low-pressure ways to meet people with shared interests.

From casual drinks and group dinners to activity-based meetups, the May event series is designed to make socialising feel easy again.

As more people look for meaningful ways to connect offline, WeMeet is positioning itself as a fresh solution to modern loneliness — helping Londoners turn intention into real-life interaction.
