With a career spanning more than two decades, renowned cabaret superstar and international entertainer extraordinaire Sven Ratzke presents a special evening of his unique interpretations of David Bowie songs in his new show ‘Where Are We Now’. The show will premiere this October in Berlin before heading to the US, Australia and Europe. However, before that, the show will open for previews in London with three nights at London’s Brasserie Zedel on 30th, 31st May & 1st June.

Interview with Sven Ratzke:
1. Can you describe yourself in 5 words?
Creative, wild, authentic, glamorous and full of humour – wicked humour
2. What inspired you to create ‘WHERE ARE WE NOW – BOWIE UNRAVELED’
I created a previous show around Bowie, called Starman. Bowie was still alive back then and gave me his permission. The show was more a wild acid dream, full of bizarre stories and beautiful songs. It was a big hit around the world. During the tour Bowie passed away and it was if somebody that was really dear to me, was suddenly gone. It sounds maybe pathetic, but if you are so in somebody’s world, it is as if he’s a part of you. It was growing in me, that I had to make another show: that would show in a intimate setting his brilliant songwriting and that would be a more personal show
3. What can people expect from your show?
We already did a show in NYC and people are very moved. Because in this intimate setting the songs are suddenly so more clear. You get the words and the feeling. It hits you. So we bring these incredible beautiful written songs, in new arrangements, some of
4. Thierry Mugler designs your clothes which look fabulous. Can you describe your style to us and why you chose this designer?
He is a real master, he dressed people like Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Bowie and many others. If you wear his clothes you become another person
