A Winter Chalet pop up has opened at FEST Camden Roof Gardens

I love all of the seasonal pop ups in London and am always on the look out for new and exciting things to do in the city.

Fest Camden have converted their Roof Gardens and 200 year old stables into a warming wonderland by the name of Fest Winter Chalet. The atmospheric setting – new menu and drinks themed selections – and plenty of festive entertainment, all start from November 1st 2018.

So now that Halloween is over, it’s time to embrace those winter vibes and festive cheer. I used to both live and work in Camden, and have been spending a lot of time in my old stomping ground recently. Fest Winter Chalet describes itself as a place to cosy up to mini hot water bottles, sit round candle lit tables, laze about under fleece blankets and warm your hands on roaring, crackling fire pits. Sounds totally amazing and am off there this week to review!

Live Music & Rooftop Cinema Club

An on site snow machine will add to the Alpine effect. Big screens will be showing Red Bull’s finest snowboarders pulling their most extreme and mesmerising tricks in the mountains. There will be live music each day with busker style performers working through seasonal set lists. The rooftop cinema club will screen cosy and nostalgic films on both Mondays and Tuesdays.

Special winter food & cocktail menu

A hearty winter food menu will offer delicious cheese boards, comforting jacket potatoes and classic pies as well as soups, Alpine pizzas and stacked burgers. Plus a number of sweet treats, warm pretzels and toffee apples.

In addition, a special winter cocktail menu has been carefully curated. Mulled wine, hot cider and rich hot chocolate, burnt cinnamon and orange old fashioneds, winter sloe negronis, toasted apple and maple syrup martinis as well as spiced mojitos to heat you to the core.

As the nights draw in and the weather grows colder, treat yourself to the perfect winter retreat at Fest Camden; a world away from everyday life.
