Tesco announces major double Clubcard points event for the first time in over a decade.
Tesco is announcing that starting today (8 January), customers can collect DOUBLE Clubcard points every time they shop for the next seven weeks until 25th February.
Clubcard unlocks the best value at Tesco no matter how you shop. You can discover over 8,000 weekly deals on Clubcard Prices in-store and online.
This is the first time the supermarket has offered a double points event like this in over a decade. Over 20 million Tesco Clubcard members are set to benefit.
All Tesco Clubcard members will receive double points when they scan or tap their Clubcard.
You can use your Clubcard when shopping in-store, online, while filling up at Tesco petrol stations, or visiting a Tesco café. Ten billion Clubcard points are expected to be collected across the event.
Tesco Clubcard has the biggest and most generous Reward Partner scheme. Customers can increase their extra Clubcard points by exchanging vouchers for up to 2x their value with 100+ Clubcard Reward Partners. The partners include subscriptions to services such as Disney+, tasty meals out at restaurants, including Pizza Express, great value, and fun holidays with the likes of Eurocamp.
Tesco’s Group Customer Director, Emma Botton, said: “Many of us could do with a little boost in January, so we are delighted to bring over 20 million Clubcard members the added joy of double points for the next seven weeks.

Customers will receive vouchers in their next two Clubcard statements – either in February or May – or can choose to redeem them instantly with the faster vouchers service on the Tesco Grocery & Clubcard app or online.
Terms and Conditions
- Double points end on 25th February 2024.
- This includes Tesco Bank, Tesco Mobile, Tesco Photo, Esso Fuel, Evri, Waves, Inkjet, Halfords Motoring Club, Tesco surveys, and international calling.
- Points will not be awarded for non-qualifying products, including tobacco or tobacco-related products, lottery, stamps, prescription medicines, infant formula milk, gift cards, saving stamps, in-store concessions and for some purchases of alcohol in Northern Ireland.
