Football newspaper books are perfect for Father’s Day!

Football has always been quite a big part of my life, growing up with two brothers. When I saw these incredible books, I thought they would be perfect for my brother for Father’s Day. Historic Newspapers kindly sent Denny a Huddersfield Town book as a surprise, which he reviewed for this blog.

Historic Newspapers don’t just make it possible to view the past. You can explore it.

Football newspaper books are no exception. Each book is hand-bound with reprints of articles documenting your team’s most historic games. Coverage dates back to 1900, and with colour coverage from 2006 onward, supporters can truly delve into their team’s history through first-hand accounts and rare photos of cup triumphs, promotions, and thrilling victories.

Perfect gift for Father’s Day!

The perfect gift for a Father’s/Mother’s Day, birthday, or Christmas. You can also personalise the book by gold embossing the recipient’s name on the leather cover and adding a special message on the title page.

Historic Newspapers have newspaper books for 61 major British clubs and a pictorial edition of the 1966 World Cup.

Historical Newspapers are proud to own the largest private newspaper archive in the UK.

Newspaper Headlines: Review by Denny Ledger
The usual selection of Father’s Day gifts modestly ranges from socks to mugs to compilation rock CD’s, but nothing says Happy Father’s Day like a football-related gift.
‘Football History Told Through Newspaper Headlines’ is an epic, unrivalled gift for all dad’s out there. Spanning over 100 years, this beautifully presented, hardback book is filled with the highs and lows (although unfortunately more of the latter for me!) of your team. Every page contains the full newspaper page, not just your team, so you get a real look at football history, not just your own team. The journey is fascinating, with hours of reading time, or even if you just want a quick flick through, there are hundreds of photographs to keep you occupied. This isn’t just a Father’s Day gift; this is a must-have for any football fan.
